Oceans will be screened at the Newark Museum on Saturday April 30th, as part of Filmideo 2016, an event celebrating the work of independent filmmakers and video artists around the world. The screening will take place from 6-9pm.
My new video, Oceans, will be showing with Beverly's at Material Art Fair in Mexico City, February 4-7, 2016.
I have a work in the 18th annual Postcards from the Edge! January 29-31, 2016.
"By participating in Postcards From the Edge artists and collectors support the activities of Visual AIDS, enabling the organization to produce AIDS-focused contemporary art programs and provide supplies and assistance to artists living with HIV/AIDS, many who are unable to continue producing work without such support."
The Movement of Objects, I and II were screened at The Sound Behind You, a film and video screening in upstate New York. August 29, 2015.
"Peter Clough and The Sun That Never Sets (Vanessa Albury + Rachel Rampleman) were pleased to present The Sound Behind You, a film and video screening and exhibition in the woods hosted by Jac Lahav and Nora Lynn Leech at Stonehaven near Phoenecia, NY. This project was conceived as an experiment in video installation, with works installed directly on tree trunks and projected onto foliage: flickering lights, a glow in the distance, echoes through the trees. A slow drone comes from somewhere down the path. Nature is a dimensioning resource that we almost completely forego as city dwellers. Since art comes from culture, it lives unnaturally in the white cube galleries of the urban landscape. By bringing the technology, illumination, and temporality of moving image work out of the city—out of the cube —and into the dark of the forest, we invoke the spirits of the ancient woods to mingle and dance with the denizens of the future."
My work was in the kooky Fireworks Exhibition, which also took place on August 29, 2015.
